DKW Advising is a tax, business advising and bookkeeping company in Denver, Colorado. President Denise Wilson launched the business in 2019, drawing on her rich expertise from prior roles at H&R Block and her time working with a CPA, as well as her law degree.

Moving on From Manual Processes & Sky-High Fees
One of the challenges DKW Advising faced was finding a way to bill clients without steep fees, which would also enable faster payment. Prior to Finli, DKW Advising handled invoicing and payments manually through their internal tax and accounting software. But this was cumbersome and expensive. They’d have to utilize EPS to run credit cards, and then incur significant fees that were ultimately hurting both DKW and its clients.
To avoid this, Denise and her team ended up manually sending invoices a lot of the time, and receiving checks through the mail in return. Needless to say, this slowed down their accounts receivable and left a lot to be desired.
Additionally, since the company deals with highly sensitive details, Denise wanted to ensure that she’d have a way to keep her clients’ information safe.
Embracing Ease of Use & Customer Choice
Denise had enough of having to choose between outrageous fees with her existing credit card payment system and incredibly slow, manual payments with invoicing and receiving checks through the mail. She began researching available options, and was thrilled when she found safe, secure Finli.
