This list is by no means all-encompassing and we encourage you to check in with the offices of mayors and governors to learn about specific small-business assistance programs in your area as rules and restrictions continue to change. Additionally, for Small Business Association local assistance, go here.

California Specific
UPDATE: On Monday, December 14, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order to give small businesses with returns of less than $1M until the end of July to file their first-quarter tax returns. For more information, go here.
As California enters into a regional stay-at-home order this week, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new $500 million Covid Relief Grant program, which will offer grants of up to $25,000 to underserved micro and small businesses throughout the state by early 2021. There will also be tax relief options and an expansion of the California Rebuilding Fund by $12.5 million. Here’s a link to learn more and to apply.

National
Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program – Offers up to six months of working capital, with a fixed interest rate of 3.75 percent. Payment can be deferred for a year with interest and loans have repayments of up to 30 years.
IFundWomen is the go-to funding marketing place for women-owned businesses. IFundWomen offers access to capital, small business grants, expert business coaching and more. Go here to register and be considered.
SCORE, a nonprofit affiliated with SBA, provides a Small Business Resilience Hub that lists financial tools and resources, as well as access to mentoring and educational workshops nationwide. There are also federal resources, including tax filing assistance for small businesses affected by the pandemic.
U.S. Chamber’s Save Small Business Initiative offers a state-by-state guide to state and city governments offering financial assistance programs, resources and advice.
Small Business Relief Initiative – created by GoFundMe in partnership with Yelp, Intuit QuickBooks, Bill.com and GoDaddy, provides owners with grants and resources.
Small Business Relief Fund matches grants of $500 to qualifying businesses that raise at least $500 on GoFundMe.
